PAST FUNDRAISERS
For the 21st Christmas, The Big J Show Cares has helped Billings-area families celebrate the joy of the holiday season. In 2025, our community was able to provide some Christmas cheer for 65 families totaling an estimated $96,195 worth of gifts
FLOCK CANCER
For a couple of years, we had the opportunity to migrate our pink flamingos around town. As a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, people could send the flock to a residence or business for a day. We were able to raise over $25,000 as a group for Relay For Life.
BOOKS FOR KIDS 2025
Now in its sixth year, Books For Kids has provided over 300,000 books for area students. Each month of the school year, K-5 students from around our area each take home a new book. For the 2026-27 school year, over 11,000 students at 34 schools each received nine books.
CARBON & STILLWATER FLOOD RELIEF
In June 2022, Carbon and Stillwater Counties were hit by record flooding. Through the generosity of many people and businesses in our area, we were able to provide food, water, volunteers, and other donations to the people of the affected areas. We partnered with the American Red Cross, Rock Creek Church, and other community organizations to distribute over $22,000 in resources.
YELLOWSTONE VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER
Our love for Billings doesn't just stop at people, we also care for the animals! Since 2022, we have had the opportunity to host a few drives for supplies for the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter. Donations have included kitten food collection, a hot dog drive to celebrate Hot Dog Day in the summer, incentive books for a kitten reading program for kids, and enrichment toys for dogs.
ZOOMONTANA
In addition to the donated airtime for the Zoo, in 2022 we were able to purchase 23 memberships for families who love the zoo, but cannot afford to attend. We also support the zoo during our Santa Claus For A Cause event by purchasing one-day passes for all of the family members of the program
